Tiny Tots: 18-23 months

We know that in the first two years of life, hundreds of neural connections are formed every second. Our Tiny Tots class learn from our teachers, from one another, and from their interactions in class and on the playground. For the 2024-2025 school year, this age level is for those children who have turned 18 months by September 1, 2024. This is our youngest group with eight – twelve children per class with a Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher. This program takes place Monday-Friday from 8:45am – 12:45pm.

Sharing, cooperating, and taking turns are a main focus in these classes; therefore, early social and gross-motor skills are addressed through both small and large group activities, music, movement, and hands-on activities. The children explore colors and shapes using a variety of materials. We nurture your toddler’s next steps forward, while encouraging social and intellectual growth and development. They also begin to build vocabulary and use words to communicate happiness, intention, and frustration. The Tiny Tots participate in all in-house field trips. Potty training will also be addressed as the school year progresses.
